Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

this weekend
Ok so I have a question. What do you do when you have a sink full of dishes and a pile of laundry that needs folding? You make a cherry pie of course! So I did, with a coconut almond topping. Yum.
We moved Brixton up to the bigger car seat. Sniffle.
and we hung out with Chris's good friend Erin and her kids Keira and Samara, aged five and three. They just moved back to Seattle and Keira and Unity hit it off immediately. I think it was the dress that did it. We are looking forward to more playdates with them.

That pie looked scrumptious and my favorites are cherries and coconut. Wish I could drop in a snitch a piece. Honey, the laundry will never run away.
Love you all
i've never tried the cherry coconut combo but now i think i must.
We really like cherry pie around here. I would do anything to get out of chores and if a cherry pie does it, then so be it!!
Pie looks great. Did B inspire the baker in you? He is getting big isn't he? That's ok. It's all good. How nice to have more friends! Thought of Grandm Rene when I saw the shirt U was wearing. Yeah!
I made zucchini bread instead of put away four baskets of laundry.
hmmm, cherry coconut. sounds like a mainline into my hubby's heart. will have to try.
