Crystal Lake, PA

We were very glad to spend a long weekend in scenic Crystal Lake PA. My friend's mom owns a lake house with her siblings and they were kind enough to let us stay there. This is the fifth year we have been able to have our little mini-Earlham reunions and we always have such a blast! This year Emily and Matt brought their 8 month old son James to join the festivities. Amanda, Nelia, Erik and Meg helped us entertain the kids. Next year we'll all (hopefully) gather in North Carolina for Erik and Meg's wedding.

brooklyn

Alex and Matias were kind enough to let us stay with them in Brooklyn and in return we forgot to take any pictures with them. Sorry guys! Don't know how that happened. We also got to spend some time with Eve at the Brooklyn Zoo and, of course, reading and buying books.

boston!

we were able to spend a few days in Boston and got to see some of Chris's friends from WPI. It was nice to reconnect with them and their children and we loved exploring the Boston Childrens' Museum and having a great dinner.

Traveling and Vermont

The kids were troopers during our road trip from chicago to vermont, but they did get a bit restless after being in the car all day. we let them invent some hotel games to let off steam. and finally we are here now in scenic vermont with gradma ann, enjoying the beautiful foliage.

Happy Birthday Brixton!!!

We are so excited to be on Brixton's birthday tour to hang out with friends and family. First stop, Forest Park to hang with Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Bill. We took the kids to the zoo on Brixton's actual birthday and then had a little party the next day. Hard to believe that our little guy is a year old. From the day he was born he has just fit into our lives so well it was as if he had always been there. We can't imagine life without him.
