Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Yarn along- Chicago scarf
I took this photo last week when we were in Chicago. One of the many great things about visiting family is the ability to have more reading and knitting time. I was in-between projects so I just started a basic scarf with some lovely varigated yarn. I'm a total sucker for the effortless color changes.
I read J.K. Rowling's new book Casual Vacancy. It's good, but very dark and definitely not for kids.
Linking with Ginny for Yarn Along.

so many amazing colorways posted this week on the yarn along. i really like how those colors pop on your WIP.
i have heard the new book by JK is a bit dark. i would love to hear what you have to say about it after you have finished. :)
I love the way the scarf looks. Do you think you need to return to Chicago for consistency sake in finishing it? :)
