I know in some parts of the country, it's been summer temps for a while now. But we are just starting to get some ( and of course there's no guarantee they'll stay. We like to say that summer starts right around the 4th of July.) But, the upside of all that is that we treasure each and every sunny moment.
This weekend we had our first beach date. First of many.
The Meeting kids admire the view. I think we live in the most beautiful place on earth.
We took the water taxi to West Seattle. It's funny, you get over there and everyone is running around in bikinis and bumping music out their car doors. It's as close to Miami as we're going to get.
We rented a little bicycle cart and went peddling down the boardwalk.
It was so cute.
Brixton has this amazing ability to sleep anywhere. I have so many pictures of him sleeping on floors, on picnic tables, in my lap, in the car. It's a gift that we highly appreciate.
I'd say it was a pretty good weekend to start the summer (fingers crossed we get to keep it for a while.)

Wish we could have joined you. I've been missing summer since we got back home. It looks like you had a great time. Love the hats on the kids! Especially love the pic of Chris and Brixton!!
