The book is 90s rocker Kristin Hersch's memoir Rat Girl. The pattern is Meghan McFarlane's Shalom cardigan. The yarn is Noro Karuta from Japan and it's divine. (silk, wool, cotton blend.) The landscape is the Oregon coast and it is even more beautiful than it looks.
