Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Happy Easter
This morning Unity and I went with our friend Megan to the Unitarian Church we sporadically attend. The Easter service was held in a beautiful Japanese-styled garden and the older kids had an Easter egg hunt afterwards. Unity spoke up during a very appropriate and moving part of the sermon, about being connected to something bigger than ones self, which prompted smiles from many of the other attenders. Then we had tasty fruit and grilled cheese.

It sounds like you had a lovely Easter morning. Wouldn't you know that Ms. U is in tune with things other than herself? Be sure to tell that to all the "baby pile" friends next time you see them. They may not have realized that yet. P.S. Thought of you guys yesterday when I was coloring Easter eggs at a friend's house. I have one for each of you. Shall I mail them? :)
