Garden

I've found gardening to be one of the best kinds of therapy there is. There is something so satisfying about digging in the dirt, watching things grow inch by inch. Yanking up handfuls of weeds. Now that the weather has mostly turned, we are out there a lot, almost every day. Not for a long time, mostly, just to pull a few weeds and gather flower petals. Just checking up on things.

We've planted some peas, and our broccoli and cauliflower starts. Brixton had a "pocket seed" from school, (a fava bean in a wet paper towel) so we planted that too.

P.S. Do you like Unity's "Elsa" braid? She's been insisting that she needs to wear her hair like that every day. Thanks, Frozen, for resurrecting my French braid skills.

What lovely signs of spring. Your grandpa Bob loved gardening. He got that love from his father. The tradition continues! Love Unity's braid, but isn't rather time consuming on a busy morning when you are trying to get everyone ready to leave?
