Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Goin' to the Durham and we're gonna get married...
This weekend I was lucky to attend the wedding of my good friend Erik in Durham. Erik and I met early on in our first year at Earlham and we've been close ever since so it was lovely to help celebrate him and his charming partner Meg. Sadly I have no actually pictures of Erik and Meg because I have learned over the years that people hire professional photographers for a reason. Shocking, I know. So I've given up the blurry rushed ceremony shots and I only have a few pre-wedding glimpses to offer. I got to share a hotel suite with Amanda, Emily and Nelia and believe you me, we had good times. I also ran into our friend Jennie from Earlham and it was so nice to see her! My Earlham peeps make me laugh like no one can and spending just a few days with them lifts me up for a while. Cheers to Erik and Meg!

So happy you were able to get to the wedding and that you got to hang out with such good buds that share a special part of your history. I hope those wonderful ties will continue to stay strong thru the years. I sure do enjoy getting together with my college friends more than forty years after we graduated. Hope that will be your story too.
