Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

swinging, victory, gourds
Well Brixton loves the swings! also, the Seattle Storm won the WNBA Championship!!! We went to the victory parade outside the arena. I don't have any good action shots of the parade but you can see Unity holding the rose she gave to Sue Bird. Such an amazing season from an amazing group of women. Also, it's harvest time and we have 35 pounds of squash. Pie time anyone?

Yay, we'll keep Brixton swinging, maybe with socks though. [We're getting anxious!] Great season for the storm. Now you'll have to find someone who taped the games so you can enjoy the action until it is live again. What a harvest. Good job. That must have taken up a lot of space in your garden.
