oh toddlers!
Everyone knows, toddlers like to be busy. They also don't always want to do what they're told. Lately Unity has enjoyed sneaking out of her bed at naptime or bedtime and pulling all her clothes and diapers out of their drawers. We will come in to find her wearing a swim diaper and three pairs of pants with everything else strewn about the floor. One afternoon she and I were both napping, or so I thought. I went in to check on her and found this little scene: apparently she had worn herself out with her redecorating and fell asleep with a bag of diapers as a pillow. Also- sometimes toddlers like to color at the Art Museum.

Loved the room redecorating story when I heard it on the phone. Love the picture even more! Drawing? Redecorating? Whatever! She just has to get that creativity out!!

What a great story and the photo! Wearing herself out and sleeping with the diapers as a pillow is just too cute! She is clearly a creative soul.
Apparently I also used to redecorate during nap times but got caught bc I'd pull the dresser drawers out and the loud bang it made was sort of telling :)
I am so glad that you two and Kristine and Patrick keep sending us these photos and stories so that we on the East Coast get to know our nieces and nephews.
