oh toddlers, redux!

So, after persistent efforts at redecorating her room, it was decided to put the tall rails back on Unity's crib this weekend. We figured that she might object to this impediment to her interior decorating binges, but much to our bemusement, Unity didn't seem to care too much. In any case, the redecorating stopped.

However, apparently the lack of objection was due to the fact that the 'impediment' wasn't all that impeding. During her so-called-nap today, Unity figured out how to scale the tall rails, climb out of her crib and resume her renovation. And she was more than willing to demonstrate her technique for us when she was asked "How the heck did you get out of your crib?"

So we have put back the toddler rails to keep any accidents from occurring, and we are back to square one.

Wow. We just had that conversation about how you taught Michael to climb out of his crib. Time to leave just a few things in the bottom drawer and put everything else up a little higher. Also time to remind yourself how much you love her emerging independence!

I'm sorry, I know this doesn't have anything to do with your post, but I saw your comment on another blog about having live tapes of Sake. I was wondering if there was any way you could upload those, or make a copy of them?
