Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Spring and the Cherry Tree
So when Bruin decided to give Unity a cherry tree, he was unknowingly continuing a family tradition. When Polly was born, her dad's friend Tad gave her a crabapple tree that bloomed on her birthday. We're glad to share this fine idea with Unity and excited about the cherries! Chris, Bruin and Lyndsey helped plant the tree and we decided it was the perfect resting place for the placenta.

We will look forward to the annual birthday picture of Unity in front of her flowering tree (another fine tradition!) and of watching both Unity and her tree as they grow.
