Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Stephanie and Scott
It was fun to hang out with Stephanie and Scott for a few days. (She's got fun shoes to fill!) Stephanie was in town to promote her novel, I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone, and she had a reading at Bailey Coy books which went very well.

Glad the book reading went well. I saw the book on display locally today and bought one. Ms. U. sure likes shoes, doesn't she? And apparently she likes phones now too. Thanks for the birthday song and the special "Hi" and "Wow".
