Earth Day part 2

Tarah and Hiram, Zelda and Zoren came over to help us celebrate Earth Day. We were working on a project for 1sky
. We decorated a sheet with our message about why we need to take action against climate change now. (In case you can't read it, our message says"Our kids will thank us for taking care of our Earth"). 1sky is going to take all the decorated sheets from projects like this all across the country and sew them together to make a giant quilt to bring to legislators in D.C. (Their event is actually on Mother's Day but that's a busy weekend for us.)Zelda got to use her elementary school teacher skills by planning out our design and Tarah and I got to use our coloring skills. Messy marker fun!

Nice going everyone. It looks fabulous and I can see the kids were right in there helping with the project. I agree, start 'em young. This is an issue that definitley concerns them, not to mention the rest of the world.
