Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Holiday Tree
Polly and I picked up a holiday tree yesterday on our snow day, and just in time! Today we got a box full of ordiments from Polly's mom and dad. Here's some pictures of the tree in our window.
The tree looks great! We knew that box of ornaments that people had given you through the years would come in handy some day. Hope they brought back lots of wonderful memories as you unpacked each treasured item.
My mother, for some reason, gives us glass "heirloom"-type ornaments every December, because, well, that's what everyone with two young boys needs, right, more chances for shards of glass around the house?
