Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Quaker summer camp
This has been a super busy summer for us. In the past month, I went to L.A. for my college friend's baby shower, then Spokane for our Yearly Meeting, then camping in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National forest. Then, last week I ran a Quaker kids summer camp for the first time.
We had a great time- reading, drawing, singing, and making elaborate fairy houses in the woods. These kids know how to mix their deep conversations with their fun and we had such a good time people are already asking about next year. I'm open to it, but first I need a nap.
