We visited Portland, OR for the long weekend. Here are some photos of our travels to the Saturday Market, post - Powells, and the Japanese Gardens. Enjoy!
Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

Please Take a minute
Hey friends,
This is a potentially HUGE decision by the EPA. It would be really wonderful if it goes through and public comments make a big difference. Please take a minute to follow the link and comment on the hearing. Unity and I will be at rallying outside the hearing this Thursday, it's one of only two in the U.S. and it's being held here. (email me if you want to join us!)
P.S. I didn't write the following, it's a copy but very important info!
For the very first time, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) recently acknowledged that greenhouse gases pose a threat to public health and welfare.
This is an important first step! Now it's up to us to show that the there is strong public support to fight global warming.
The EPA will be accepting public comments on this issue until June 23rd. Will you join me in submitting a comment urging the EPA to take swift action on global warming? Just click the link below to send your letter now:

Big Oil and Coal have already spent tens of millions of dollars to block progress on global warming and they will push hard to block any EPA regulations. That's why it's crucial to use this public comment period to demonstrate that America demands action on global warming.

Together, we can show that there is strong public support for change and encourage the EPA to take swift, decisive action to regulate global warming gases.
Once you've submitted your comment, please forward this email to your friends and family and ask them to join you. Hurry, we only have until June 23rd to weigh in!
Thanks for your help.

Happy Birthday Helen!
This weekend's birthday party is brought to you by Helen, who turned four. We celebrated with her friends Leila and Jakob by painting flower pots and planting flower seeds. There was also a lovely cake made by her mama Juliana.
