Mona's Meadow

So we went camping this weekend on the Hood Canal. A woman from church owns property out there and she invited everyone to come camping in her meadow. We had fun playing games, walking on the beach and making smores around the campfire. It was Unity's first night sleeping in a tent and she did pretty well. She woke us up at 7am with her usual morning greeting; "Hi. Hi. Ready? Ready? Play? Down? Down?". The big kids loved hanging out with her and the feeling was mutual!

Zelda and Zoren and Mary-Rawson and Alexa came over to do some art for www.momsrising.org. We decorated onesies with our messages to take to the Democratic and Republican conventions and we also found time to read to the babes and break up their little tussles.

Unity is now very aware of the camera so these videos are little battles where I try to get her to do her fun tricks and she tries to grab the camera from me. Oh toddlers!
