Unity borrowed Greg's headband...and wondered if it will make her just as tall. Later the crew met up at Mosaic again. Today Cooper, Hiram and Unity dug in the toy box. Ellis, Hiram and Unity hung out in the playhouse, then joined the pile up with Sophie and Eva.
Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

driving my animals
So I have this bus. It's square-ish and sturdy, and best of all I can fit in it with all of my favorite animals. I drive them all over the living room, it's great.

baby pile at Mosiac
The kids are getting bigger and interacting more. Right now that means crawling over each other and stealing toys. But, you know, I'm sure world peace is next on the agenda. Sophie, Zoren, Alexa and the crew demonstrate.
Winter Babies Wear Layers
It's been colder than usual around these parts. Unity and I went out the other day and she was wearing every bit of her warm stuff. It seems to have worked tho, she fell asleep on the bus, which is rare for her.

visiting with Keira
Keira and her parents Erin and Scott are staying with us for a few days. Unity is in awe of playing with such a big kid (18 months.) Maybe Keira will teach her some new tricks.

The First Word
I was reading a book to Unity on Friday night, and when I was telling her about the cow jumping over the moon, she did it. She said "cow." Or something that sounded remarkably close. So there you have it.
I heard the word and the word was cow.
I heard the word and the word was cow.
