The Boring Store...

We met up with another high school friend today, my buddy Thea. She accompanied us on a visit to "The Boring Store" which is absolutely not a secret spy supply store run by the McSweeney's Crew. Nope, not at all. They had lots of supplies for going incognito. Thea got to hang out with Unity, and even obliged us by taking pictures of the whole crew. What a pal!

Four Generations

Great Grandma Bette and Great Grandpa Ken were able to come and visit with us, and we got a chance to take some four generations pictures, carrying on in a long tradition.

We got snow! and then Unity had a playdate with the children of some friends of mine from high school. Chris and Leslie are brother and sister, and they live next door to each other, conviently enough. Chrisand his partner Autumn have two kids, Jude who is 4 and Arlo who's 1, and Leslie and her partner David have Archer, who is 20 months. We had a blast catching up and watching the kids play together.

Lessons with Uncle Michael, kitchen band with Grandma, and hanging with Polly's friends from high school, Mark and Marcel.

apparently Unity doesn't think Chicago is very cold...here she hangs out in her diaper with grandpa bill and grandma cindy. also, her papa arrived yesterday from vermont and we're all excited about that.

x mas part 2

On Christmas Day we had 16 Lewis clan members over to my parents house. Unity had a great time playing with her cousins (well second cousins really but who's counting?) Bella and James.
