Covered in glitter and crumbs. Waking up to maracas and fairy wings. Pockets full of rubber bands and dandelions. Buried under book piles. Dirty hands with homemade kombucha. Coffee in the rain. Waiting for that sacred scrap of silence.

more good stuff
Unity's been spending a lot of time in her new (old) highchair. That is, when she's not partying at Carrie and Jason's wedding.

Saturday morning
Some people eat cereal and yogurt for breakfast and some people eat squash. Some people take naps and some people play with toys.

Busy Day part 2
Next, we went over to see Tarah, Dylan and Hiram. Hiram was having his first taste of avocado and his parents thought he might want some company. Hiram and Unity always enjoy each others company. Finally, Unity is starting to pull up on all fours (Not the best picture but you can get the idea) making her parents think they really need to get that baby gate soon!
Busy Day part 1
Yesterday was certainly a busy day! (The hike was from last weekend. Don't worry, we're not that busy.) First we went to the after-party for some friends of ours.
Oliver just turned four and had a pirate-themed party in Ravenna park just down the street from where Polly used to live. He and his sister Megan were still playing and hanging out with their parents for a little bit after the party. Unity decided she wants to be a pirate too. Look out!

More Visitors
Unity's friend Cooper, as well as Polly's friend Gena, came over to hang out with us. Cooper and Unity are just a few weeks apart, and they get along famously, except for when Unity tried to poke his eyes out. But, he's forgiven her, and even showed her his new skill- sitting up, no hands from mom.
