Left Bank Party

Soon Unity is going to think that her mom is named Polly and everyone else in the world is named Chris. This weekend we went to a bon voyage party for another Chris, this one is moving to australia and having a baby! it was great to see a bunch of the old Left Bank books crew, including Kristi, Raven and the soon-to-be expat Chris. Unity did some rolling on the floor, and some rocking to Nirvana.

Unity invited her friends Hiram and Nathan over for dinner and we insisted they bring their parents too. Tarah, Dylan, Chris and Alex make for good company and even better jungle gyms for their offspring.

HP 7 party!

ok so Unity was home in bed but for us booksellers it was a historic moment: the last Harry Potter and (probably) the last time hundreds of people will line up at midnight to buy a book. Bailey Coy rose to the occasion with costumes, butterbeer and cupcakes, and stayed open until almost 2 am.

Unity read the book the next morning though, and she says it's pretty good.

Power of Attorney Party

Our good friends Megan & Chris had a Power of Attorney Party today in Madrona Park. They celebrated their commitment together by signing Power of Attorney paperwork and having a celebration with their families and friends. Here are some pictures.
