Over the weekend we got to see a great kindie band play. The Board of Education writes fun dancy songs about nerdy stuff, it's a great combination. (Their most famous song is called "Why does dad get so mad about Star Wars?" and it's about the generation gap between the 80s Star Wars movies and the prequels. )   Pretty awesome, you have to admit.

 

 

 

 

We went with a bunch of friends from preschool days and Unity had fun dancing with them.

 

 

and with dad of course.

                                      On Monday Brixton and I went to the Kid's Museum with Tarah and Baird.
                   We used to go all the time with Unity but it's been a while, and B had mostly forgotten
about it. Which was great, it was like a whole new place to him.
                                     

                                He loved the pretend grocery shopping. Sometimes, it's the little things, right?

Things I am grateful for:

1. Fun things to do on a rainy day

 2. Friends to hang out with.

3. Being able to be home full-time with my amazing kids.

4. Our continued good health.

5. My beautiful amazing Quaker Meeting

6. The Rumpus' Letters to Each Other, which has gotten me so excited to check the mail every day. 

7. My supportive husband who comes home from work and helps with dinner and bedtime and then watches BBC dramas with me.

8. Caspar Babypants and all the Seattle kindie bands who make kids music fun for everyone.

9. Our families who continue to love and support us.

10. all the roads we've walked that got us to this place, right here, right now.

What have we here?

Oh, just another day of unbridled fun and silliness at the Kid's Museum with usual suspects Meridian and Archer.
